7. Patwon ki Haveli

The place is one that you must visit when you are in Jaisalmer. It is interesting to know the story behind this haveli. It is not one haveli but an amalgamation of five havelis. It is said that each of these havelis had been built by Patwa who was a wealth trader of the time for each of his sons. The Havelis took 50 years to complete, and after his death, the project was completed by his sons, also Patwon ki Haveli now comes under the Archaeological Survey of India.

8. Pachpadra Lake

This Lake is quite unusual one as it is a lake that has the highest level of sodium chloride (almost 100%). The lake is also popular for being the extraction point of salt of high quality. It is in the Barmer district of Rajasthan spread across a span of 25 square kilometers.
